ABSTRACT:
In this study, a method based on transfer matrix method for the first and second order statical analysis of beams on elastic foundations is presented. It is assumed that the behavior of beams under loading is in agreement with the Winkler hypothesis. At the end of the study, two examples quoted from the literature are presented in order to investigate the advantage of the method to matrixdisplacement method.
