ABSTRACT:
Faunistic and taxonomic studies of plant parasitic nematodes of Tylenchida (Nematoda) associated with fennel flower (Nigella L.) in Golhisar and Karamanli (Burdur) districts were carried out. Nematodes were extracted from soil and root samples, killed and processed for microscopic examination, measurement and identification. A total of 10 nematode species were identified belonging to four families of Tylenchida. During this study Pratylenchus thornei Sher & Allen and Helicotylenchus dihystera (Cobb) were found to be the most encountered species.
