ABSTRACT:

Insect parasitic nematode Distolabrellus pakistanensis sp. n. was reared in laboratory and is described from Pakistan. It is characterized by having a continuous head, angular cleft between lips not sclerotised, promesostome not diverge, 3 lateral lines, pore-like vulva, L= 1.3- 1.8 µm; b= 6.9-8.4; c’= 2.5-3; body width= 105-130 µm. D. pakistanensis n. sp. is amphimictic, completes embryonic development in 14-16 hrs and post embryonic development in 60-80 hrs. Its total duration of life cycle was 3-4 days at room temperature.
