ABSTRACT:
In this study, it is purposed to determine easily and without any damage the structural features of rock materials by using electrical conductivity methods. Therefore, it is decided that homogeneous artificial rock materials are studied with electrical conductivity method. Gas concrete material was chosen as synthetic rock material because of its homogeneity. Some 17 artificial rock units based on basic 4 models have been prepared with gas concrete material and other homogeneous artificial materials. 85 electrical conductivity tests have been carried out on these model samples preparing from these rock units, recognizing structural combinations. Potential difference has been 20‐30 volt in samples which was single piece. It has been seen that variation of voltage on model samples formed from three pieces range from 5 V to 50 V. In addition, variation of voltage of samples which have three pieces and potential filling material has been carried out between 5 V and 40 V.
