ABSTRACT:

Chickpea is one of the important pulse crop grown in Rajasthan in irrigated and rain fed conditions. Plant-parasitic nematodes are one of the major limiting factors in the chickpea cultivation in Rajasthan. Therefore, studies have undertaken to record the plant-parasitic nematode population in chickpea-groundnut system at farmers field in the village Harnathpura which is 46 km from Jaipur, Rajasthan. In this village majority of farmers are (approx.600ha) following chickpea groundnut cropping system in rain fed conditions.
