ABSTRACT:
As it is known that, at 1. and 2. degree seismic zones, earthquake risk level is almost high and these regions cover ½ of Turkey’s area. In this study, to represent of buildings in these regions, 1/3 scaled 2 story 2 bay reinforced concrete frame under magnitude of approximately cc fA10.0 axial load was tested under reversed-cyclic lateral load. The response envelope curves and lateral load bearing capacities which were obtained from tests and SAP2000 programme, were compared.
