ABSTRACT:
GRC, is a kind of fiber cements which are produced to improve the strength and properties of concrete. It is produced by adding glass fibers to the concrete mixture, The final GRC mixture can be made at various portions. Thus the material finds very extend application areas. In construction sector, it is used extendly in constructions and subcontructions. GRC facade panels, which are kinds of applications of GRC materials, are applicated to building facades by constituting various systems. In S.U. at the Programme of Master of Science in Architecture, in 2010 in the thesis prepared by Gülnihal Demirtaş, with the name of “Occured Problems in GRC Facade Panels and Solution Proposals”, byhaving GRC facade panels and the problems of facades to which were applicated GRC facade panels on researched, the solution methods were suggested.
